I don't really post enough of my oil paintings online (or maybe I just don't paint enough), but I really am devoting more and more of my time to it. Part of me feels like it's a little easier than digital painting to be honest... I just like being able to feel the brush against the canvas, it gives me a little more of a feeling for the painting??? I know most people feel the other way around so it's more likely I'm just not using Photoshop properly!
This was supposed to be a painting of a lovely picture of Saoirse Ronan from Vogue last year. It looks nothing like the picture, but I liked the sort of loose style to it mid-way through and left it as is... it's all about the learning process right now.
